UW-SET still has a few openings available for Special Education Teacher Residents for the 2021-22 School Year.   The University of Wisconsin-Madison Special Education Teacher (UW-SET) Residency Program is a 14-month teacher education program designed to prepare, support, and place new special educators in rural Wisconsin communities.  You can learn more about the program here. 

Participants receive a living stipend of $38,800 plus health benefits for the duration of the program! Additionally, participants can receive up to the cost of in-state tuition from the UW-Madison Wisconsin Teacher Pledge
